Brand film

FlowCraftDB brand film: what FlowCraftDB makes of supplier data.
Just another supplier-Excel morning

The assortment is bought. Sales is waiting. And somewhere, someone is still sitting in Excel.

A new supplier should be good news. In reality, what arrives first is a file with different columns, missing mandatory fields, new categories and attributes that nobody needs in the shape they were delivered.

  • Every supplier, its own logic

The supplier sends their logic, you get to deal with it - with every single file.

  • There, but not sellable

Sales could get going, but incomplete product data blocks the go-live.

  • Every price list from scratch

Compare the changes, correct them and move them cleanly into your systems again.

  • More range, more people

The effort grows with the assortment until only extra headcount helps.

Six-figure personnel costs on average. For product data maintenance alone.

What does it cost you every year to make product data sellable by hand?

What looks like individual tasks day to day adds up to thousands of working hours a year across tens of thousands of articles. Put your own numbers in.

The bottleneck sits in front of your systems

Your PIM, ERP and shop can only manage the data somebody cleaned up beforehand

The actual work happens before that: understanding supplier data, unifying it, filling the gaps and bringing it onto your structure.

What is manageable with a handful of suppliers quickly turns into permanent handwork at scale.

Flowy sits overwhelmed at the computer, between stacks of files and a spreadsheet full of red errors.
The new standard

With FlowCraftDB you get 30,000+ new products ready to sell in a few hours, instead of straightening out supplier data by hand for weeks.

What costs days or weeks of product data work today runs as an automated process overnight.

  1. Step 1

Take supplier data in and fill in the missing context

Excel, CSV, portals or existing data sources are processed. From the product information and identifiers already there, FlowCraftDB fills in the missing context from suitable sources.

  2. Step 2

    Unify and enrich

Spellings, units and formats are brought onto one standard. Values from free text and other sources are mapped to the right attributes.

  3. Step 3

Recognise, classify and resolve the attributes

The AI reads the product context that is there and recognises which product type an article belongs to. Individual details become one unambiguous context for everything that follows.

  4. Step 4

    Verify and hand over

Every value is held against its source before the finished record reaches your systems.

How thin supplier input becomes a sellable product record

Animated illustration: Flowy, the FlowCraftDB mascot, walks an article through six stations. From article number 4711, the product name Screw clamp 60 and a short text, FlowCraftDB gathers context from identifiers, the supplier portal, manufacturer information, a web search and further sources. The raw values are reconciled into a record of five areas: master data, description with short and long text, technical attributes, measures and logistics, and media with a product image and generated alt text. FlowCraftDB then classifies the article in parallel into your category structure, ETIM, ECLASS and further standards such as EDE and Nordwest, derives the attributes throat depth, jaw width, diameter and clamping width from the class, and delivers a product record in which every value carries its origin.

Automation without flying blind

Automated product data maintenance only helps you if you don't have to check everything again afterwards.

FlowCraftDB uses AI without trusting it blindly on product data. The AI recognises product context, classification and relevant attributes, but it does not therefore treat every value as correct.

Unambiguous data is processed further. Uncertain, conflicting or unverifiable values stay visible, so your team only has to step in where a decision is genuinely needed.

Better empty than plausible but wrong.

Automatic classification for your data structure

Thousands of possible classes. Thousands of products. And every single one has to be filed correctly.

Whether it is your own category structure, ETIM or ECLASS: for every product the matching class has to be found first. ECLASS alone offers over 40,000 classes to choose from. Then come the matching attributes and the mapping of the product information.

FlowCraftDB handles these steps automatically and files every piece of information where it belongs with you.

By hand

Understand the product

  1. search for the matching class
  2. determine the relevant attributes
  3. map the available information

With FlowCraftDB

Recognise the product

  1. find the matching class automatically
  2. resolve the relevant attributes
  3. map information to the right attributes

Get products online faster & capture the revenue your assortment could have been making all along

Every day a purchased assortment cannot be sold because of unfinished product data leaves thousands of euros on the table. Once that blockade is gone, your products can finally sell and your sales team no longer has to wait for “the data to be ready”.
